If traveling with children also fun is guaranteed, since the beaches are the best “battlefield” for all their games, sand castles, ball toss, plunge into the sea … why we recommend the best of our country to travel in family:

1. Playa de San Antonio, Asturias.

Playa San Antonio is a small secluded beach within 100 meters of white sand and strong waves which are accessed by foot from the adjacent Cuevas del Mar. It also visited the nudist beach and depression Torimbia inside Gulpiyuri beach.

2. Playa de la Pineda, Tarragona.

Very close to Salou, but much quieter, this town is next to Port Aventura, a place you do not want to miss if you go with children. The beach is very long, has all the facilities essential for a family holiday and is surrounded by hotels of different categories. Which do you prefer?

3. Empuries, Barcelona.

This beach has plenty of variety. Many coves beside a long way with pine, allow the choice of a suitable place for children of different ages. In addition, sea water is shallow and there is plenty of recreational activities such as bicycle hire. Therefore in Empúries, children can let loose their energy renda with amusement. In addition, across from the beach, among the ruins of a Greek city and a village between walls, esplanades are large shady pine trees, ideal for family meals or naps to rest.

4. Oropesa del Mar, Catellón.

For years, Oropesa beach is very suitable to go with family, but lately has also been a boom thanks to Marina D’Or, a city created exclusively for the enjoyment of family vacation near the town center.

It has a wide range of restaurants, doctor, a seawater spa, various entertainment programs and other activities. Also, you can choose between hotels of different categories or apartments, and is open all year!

5. Playa de la Oliva, Valencia.

Although many people are reluctant to the beaches of Valencia, the fact is they are ideal to go with family. Very close to Gandia is a small town called Olive, where every year hundreds of families gather to spend their holidays. In summer, are very famous for its festival of Moors and Christians, and is a city full of parks that will provide them meet other kids their age and have a golf resort very close.

6. Mar Menor, Murcia.

Although there was a time that was the top destination for families, today is still a very fit to travel with small children because of the shallowness of the Mar Menor.

7. Roquetas, Almeria.

Another destination where the beaches has been awarded “Blue Flag” which assesses the accessibility of its beaches, the clean sand and water, etc.. Among them we can keep beaches: Romanilla, La Bajadilla, Salinas or Aguadulce

8. Playa del Ingles, Grand Canary.

One of the best beaches on the island, along with a variety of restaurants, bars for those who tire quickly of sunbathing. There are some ice cream that will delight children.

9. Great beaches of Corralejo, Fuerteventura.

Area of great beaches in Corralejo in the north coast of the island which covers about 3 km length and mass. There are a number of beautiful beaches of golden sand consecutive, normally calm waters. The Olive can enjoy another 20 beaches.

10. Cala Salada, Ibiza.

Golden sand and calm waters Cala Salada is a small cove surrounded by pines in the hills. It has a restaurant, wharf, … and across the mini cliff is accessible to other bays.

These are some of the beaches that we recommend from Halconviajes.com, of course there are many more on our shores to choose from, and is, we can boast of being one of the countries that top the list of the most “blue flags” possesses. To better enjoy this type of travel recommendations must be followed:

1. There are many tourism enterprises active so you can investigate the prices and schedules on such activity or places you’ve been planning in order to suit your preferences.

2. Reservations for lodging must be made in advance to avoid surprises upon arrival at destination. Because adventure trips are conducted in rural or remote areas of the cities, the supply of hotels or apartments may be reduced.

3. If the destination of adventure is in the country, a good option is to use rental cars that allow you to enjoy a full tour of the sights of the road. For rough terrain such as mountains or beaches, renting ATVs is the most viable alternative.

Also, the shoe is important because some activities require special shoes like trekking, safari and nautical activities.

6. In hilly areas, it requires some preparation. In addition to tours with rental SUVs, travelers should know the conditions of tolerance, the heights and climate changes in climbing.

7. Carry a first aid kit with special pain medications such as analgesics or antihistamines, bandages, insect repellents and sunscreens. Packing food, fruit and fluids to stay hydrated.

Of course the obvious question is, what are the favorite activities in Cancun? Actually there is a world of activities available for vacationers in Cancun but today I will share my three favorite activities based on my past trips to Cancun.

Experience Chichen Itza.

One of the most important cities in the Mayan culture was the city of Chichen Itza.
The large number of monuments including the world famous pyramids and the golf ball of the Mayan world are evidence of that. This is where took place the ball games that according to legend humando culminating in the sacrifice to the gods. Chichen Itza is not exactly in Cancun but you can get there in one of the many tours available by bus or rental car. On the way to Chichen Itza are still some ruins of the ancient Mayan people so if you rent a car do not forget to take the free road and meet them.

Driving directions also allows you to make some stops in the villages they currently inhabit the descendants of the Maya and you will see and experience how and where they live.

Know the Cenotes.

Cenotes are a marvel of nature that connects the outside world with the underground rivers of the Yucatan Peninsula. These wonders of mother nature offers fantastic giant freshwater wells, sweet and medium depth with crystal streams safe for swimming. For the Maya Cenotes were essential not only because they were the sustenance of life in the region but also were the doors to another world. An interesting fact about the Mayan Cenotes is that sacrifices used to practice the highest spiritual value and it is presumed that they were thrown valuables such as jewelry and even humans.

One of the Cenotes recommend you visit is the Blue Hole which you can get in one day trips are available to tourists. The Blue Hole is the place to go snorkeling in the crystal cool waters of the underground rivers and enjoy nature. You can also hire guided tours of the Cenotes to other more remote and less crowded where you can practice snorkeling in the caves. The Yucatan Cenotes are unique. and are found nowhere else in the world, so keep visiting.

Rent a catamaran to Isla Mujeres.

Catamaran sailing to Isla Mujeres is another activity that you must try when visiting Cancun. Guided trips to Isla Mujeres available for tourists offer you an unforgettable experience that include food and beverages and the opportunity to swim in the beautiful beaches of Isla Mujeres. Although this island is already well known by tourists, Isla Mujeres is still a quiet and relaxing as it remains a small village of local fishermen who offer a friendly atmosphere. This paradise for tourists is located 8 miles from the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula and there you will have the opportunity to snorkel from a catamaran and swim in crystal blue waters surrounded by colorful fish.

The catamaran ride is an experience worth in Cancun and you can book guided tours and cared for under $ 50 per person and include food and drinks. Still, remember you can always “haggling” and get a lower price. The problem for most tourists visiting Cancun is that they are there, do not want to go home.

Road trips have become an increasing popular holiday choice. In terms of exploring new regions and getting to know different cultures; no other type holiday really comes close.

As tempting as it is to simply go care-free road where the road takes you, there are a number of things that you should consider before travelling so as to make sure that your holiday is as stress free as possible.

Local laws and customs

Before setting off on your travels, it is recommended that you read up on the local laws and customs. In France for instance, it is now a legal requirement for motorists to carry a breathalyzer testing kit with them at all times when on the roads. This is part of France’s very strict drink drive regulations. The best advice which can be given to road-trippers is that they do not drive for 12 hours after touching alcohol.

It is also recommended that you get up to date with what all the road signs mean in the countries you are planning on driving through as they will no doubt be different to our own. The same applies to speed limits. The national speed limit in France is 81 mph, but this drops to 70 mph in the wet. Anyone who is caught by French police doing 16 mph over the stated speed limit will have their licence immediately confiscated as part of French law.

In Germany however, despite having a recommended limit of 81 mph, there are actually no legally enforceable speed limits on specialist parts of motorway known as the Autobahn which is the 5th longest road in the world spanning 7,965 miles across the country.

These are the kind of details which you should know about if you are planning on driving in these countries.

Vehicle Maintenance

You should also ensure that you vehicle is fit for purpose before traveller by having a full service and inspection carried out at a trusted garage in order to identify any potential flaws.

Tyres and brakes will obviously be a primary concern, particularly if you are going to be taking on particularly challenging driving roads and dangerous conditions. It is worth paying a little bit extra before setting off in order to guarantee the safety of your passengers and yourself.

Breakdown cover

However, just because you take care of your vehicle doesn’t mean that car failures or punctures are an impossibility; particularly when you are travelling longer distances.

Many people make the mistake of assuming that they will receive the same levels of breakdown cover from their provider abroad as they do at home. This often proves not to be the case, as most breakdown cover companies will not have transatlantic operations and therefore have to enlist the services of other companies.

If you know you are going to be taking your vehicle abroad, it is recommended that you opt for a European breakdown cover package.

Insurance

The same is true when it comes to car insurance, with most insurance companies automatically downgrading fully comprehensive policy holders to 3rd party levels of cover upon them setting one wheel out of the country.

It is recommended that you check with your insurer how much cover you will be provided with in the destinations of your choice, as each country will be viewed differently by the insurer. If you feel that the cover you will have is insufficient, it is recommended that you opt for a separate European car insurance policy to cover you over the duration of the trip.

Medical kits

Of course it is not just your vehicle which requires consideration. Remember to take any medication you require with you and sourcing it in a local country, particularly if it is part of a prescription may not be an easy task.

Additionally, medical essentials such as plasters and antiseptic sprays should also be taken along for the trip because you never know when they might be needed.

The city of Nicosia is the capital of Cyprus, an island located in the Mediterranean Sea just off the Turkish coast. The city is able to appear both modern as well as charming, thanks to older architecture, a friendly population and easy to understand maps and signposts. It is the ideal destination for those who want more than just warm weather, but also want to tour some of the fascinating museums and get a feel of the culture and heritage of the island. With affordable accommodation in Nicosia and very cheap flights to Cyprus, it is also a staggeringly reasonable holiday destination. If you have a week to spend in Nicosia, here are some of the ways to spend your time.

Museums in Nicosia: Those with an interest in history should absolutely visit the many interesting museums and art galleries within the city. There are over a dozen to choose from, and many offer free admission on certain days of the week. The most popular among visitors are the Cyprus Museum, the Byzantine Museum, Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre and the incredibly contemporary Ledra Observatory Museum.

The Old City: For a simple way to get a feel for the historical district of Nicosia, simply walk through the Old City and take in the traditional architecture and cobblestone streets. You will find plenty of older churches, especially nearing the Green Line district within the divided capital.

Dine on Traditional Cuisine: Nicosia offers lots of authentic Cypriot dishes, which are influenced by the surrounding Balkan regions significantly. In addition, there are plenty of opportunities to try freshly caught local seafood. Be sure to stop in at one of the quaint and authentic cafes on Makarios Avenue where the locals spend their time and try a rich, strong Greek coffee. Sip on the local dessert wine known as Commandaria after your meals.
